We are delighted to hear your friend loves Ginger Moon, it is also nice to know they are recommending us to others.

Our motto is “It’s a sharing thing”. We don’t offer entrees and main courses as a European restaurant might, and if this sharing ideal is embraced we are sure your experience will be all the better for it, after all sharing a meal with friends, family and loved ones is one of lives simple but greatest pleasures.

My Mother-in-laws chicken curry is an authentic Javanese dish and frankly it doesn’t get much better than that. It is by all accounts delicious and something our guests return time and again for. It is okay that classic local dishes such as this do not suit your tastes because there is a positive here, at least you tried something new.

If you do visit again please ask for me, I would be only to happy to explain the origins and flavours of each dish to ensure we found something you like, there is plenty to choose from.
