Thank you for sharing your experience. We are anyway very surprised to read a coment about our garden , as generally our customers come to the winery for our wines rather than for our garden, but anyway, we are very sorry that you did not enjoy the winery at this time of the year.
Let us just remind you that our winery is a real family winery and not a movie set, and that we are winemakers and that our principal activity is to care about our wines and to do our best to produce good wines. To do so we need to work hard in the vines, in the cellar and in the office and unfortunately having grass in the garden might not be our priority.
Moreover we are an organic winery (all our wines are organic) and do not use any weed killer at all, so we can have a little bit more grass and plants during spring time, when it is more rainy, than during fall time after a dry and warm summer, this is nature.
Speaking about wine, buying a bottle of Coin Perdu seems to be for you just something « done ». Just buy it once, and you can put a cross on the « things do to » list.
Fortunately we do have customers coming every year to enjoy the new vintage of this wine (and of our other wines too ) and who do understand why this wine, made from vines more than 100 years old, produced in extremely limited amount , winner for the 3rd consecutive year of the best note on a famous wine guide, can be a little bit more expensive than our other reds.
You think the wine is overpriced, this is your point of view and we do respect it.
Our range of wines goes from 5 Euros to 20 Euros.
We wish you anyway a good tasting of the bottles you bought and hope to welcome you again at the winery (with more or less grass in the garden ;-) )
