Truly, as general manager, I wish to extend apologies as your experience is very important to myself, team and Loews Hotels. Certainly, and in looking at our online reviews, this is not typical of our ability and no excuse is acceptable.
Guest arrival time, and room type reserved determines room assignment, and while we run nearly 100% every night, at times room availability is limited. As for noisy ventilation, this is not common and we will assess this hotels rooftop and that of our adjacent building.
At Loews we attempt to respond to HQ notices within 24 hours and this is highly unusual however will be carefully reviewed. Wish I had been able to offer a more reasonable explanation other than human error, however these are easy to recover from.
While you noted 'First and last time', I believe provided a second opportunity you would be able to see why Loews Hotels rank very high in the Four Diamond market. Let me know if you wish another visit, and I would personally see to your reservation and first night.
Surely, we wish to get it right every time, however being perfect comes with error and improvement.
