Dear Kvilla22- thank you for letting us know about your recent experience. Prior to the next guest checking in, we were able to get back in that room, and peel back the vinyl in several locations in the bathroom. Absolutely no trace of mold anywhere. That one spot by the shower had not been sealed properly, and improper glue was used, allowing moisture to get in, and discolor. The issue was quickly addressed, by cutting out the drywall, used a blower to dry, re-sealed the paper, and we are good to go. I apologize we were unable to move you, as we were completely sold out.

Dear Sojourner, we are very sorry our hotel did not meet your expected service or amenities. Yes, Hilton Garden Inn is not a full-service Hilton with 24 hour room service. As this is peak season, we are full every night and are often unable to provide late checkout. The beds are less than two years old, but comfort is an individual thing. While almost every guest loves our beds, we understand individual tastes vary. As for the walls, hotels built with wood frames like most in California might not provide the sound buffer that concrete provides. Lastly, we will check the toilet but no previous guest had reported a problem. Most importantly, thank you for your comments and travel safely! Bob
