- 机场到这里Grab RM45.
- 可以线上处理入住和退房。办理线上入住,可以得到酒店工作人员更快速处理得到房间。
- 等待房间期间可以到cool lounge或者Garden Cafe休息吃三文治,水果和果汁。
- 小孩很喜欢酒店的室外泳池,这里让他们玩到不想离开。
- 小孩泳池有遮阳布,这样就不会长时间曝晒在太阳下。
- 泳池都有救生员看守。
- 房里的花洒水压很棒。
- 酒店工作人员都很友善亲切,helpful。
- Superior room 有一张大床和一张长沙发。有些房间的沙发应该只有一半长度,所以很感谢被安排到有长沙发的房间,很适合2大2小入住。

作为shangri-la 旗下的酒店 我认为达不到应有的水准,入住体验非常不好,很失望。以下几点为我的评价:
1)入住时房间卫生不太好,入住的2间房都有堵水现象,主要原因应该是浴缸和厕所下水道脏没有清理,导致洗澡后,水overflow排到厕所外。
2)入住时热水开到最热但是水不热,导致包括年幼的孩子在下雨天 洗了冷水澡。热水直到很晚才回复正常
3)空调太冷,即使关掉空调依然很冷 导致有两个家人隔天生病。
4)最严重的问题是 作为主打欢迎带着孩子前来入住的亲子酒店,海滩上的水上活动游乐设施的几家商家,几乎所有人永远烟不离手,导致乌烟瘴气!这个完全无法容忍!
5)酒店提供的自助早餐,作为这个星级的酒店,品质一般,比如吐司面包竟然用的是超市massimo 吐司,roti canai 厚厚的有如吃面粉团,
还不如速冻roti canai。
6)亲子酒店的adventure zone竟然只是周末开放,酒店并没有在任何地方公示 包括酒店大堂的广告也是旧的时间,让我们主要带孩子来体验的东西 基本体验不到 海滩都是烟,室内游乐园关闭。
最后作为以前从小经常入住rasa sayang和golden sands的我们 这次前一天入住隔壁酒店后来入住贵酒店,相比下真的很失望,体验极差,希望贵酒店会给予反馈并改进。

Golden Sanda 度假村是以亲子为主,适合有带小孩的家庭入住。度假村设施算丰富,房间有重新装潢过。同时这边也比较多团体客入住,质量有差异。柜台办理入住与退房手续都要排队等候,跟以往住过的香格里拉度假村的入住手续经验不一样,这里的服务流程比较粗糙,有点失望。

儿子生日时带了一家人到这度假,房间没有我想像中那么残旧,毕竟都有那么多年的历史了,保养方面的确做得很不错。房间空间并不算很大,但却很干净。早餐选择不多,味道尚可。孩子们在水上乐园玩得很开心,有救生人员看守,这很不错。槟城的海滩虽然称不上漂亮,但躺在沙滩椅上听着海浪声放空,也是种享受。沙滩旁有外来的按摩服务,价钱相对有点小贵,但技术还算不错。

前台叫Alex的员工绝对是我在马来西亚酒店见过的最棒的前台员工……非常友善热心。我忘记了名字的门童(对不起……)也是如此。房间非常干净,泳池很棒……如果有多一些儿童滑梯就更棒了……食物也很出色……一定还会再来。
