The Cave of Dreams is a private cave with balcony and bathroom situated above the owners cave house. There is an outdoor kitchen for guest use on the main terrace from April until October.
Also we have a small plunge pool for guests to use.The cave is in the countryside 5 mins drive from the A92N motorway and the historic Baza town centre with all amenities.
The stunning lake Negratin is 10 mins drive away which has a beach, spas, restaurants,fishing and watersports. The cave is a perfect place to stay for people who love the outdoors and you can be as active or as relaxed as you like. There are beautiful and fascinating places to visit close-by including Castril, Orce, Galera, Gorafe and just one hour away is the fabulous city of Granada and the Alhambra Palace. Guests can have visitors in agreement with the owners.
Breakfast will be served on the owners patio at an arranged time before 11am. If the weather is not suitable to eat outdoors breakfast will be served in the private cave or the owners cave dining room.
The Cave of Dreams, which is gay owned, is welcoming to people from all diverse groups but please be aware that unfortunately the cave is not accessible for people with mobility restrictions due to a long staircase.

Fabulous Cave of Dreams
This was my second stay with the guys at Cave of Dreams. My first stay was when they first set up and it was cosy and fun then, but now it has improved even more .. there’s a fab plunge pool and amazing art adorns the place.
It’s peaceful and Beautiful yet easy to reach from Baza town. It’s an area surrounded by interesting places to visit and wildlife; mountains, lakes and walks. I’d totally recommend it to anyone. The breakfast is first class too and there’s coffee making facilities in the room plus towels and blankets for cooler nights. The place is beautifully done out and the clear starry sky in that area at night made our cave stay a great experience, not to be missed.

A 5 star Experience
An excellent stay at this lovely cave house. Allan and Clive are wonderful hosts and made us feel really welcome. The cave has a fridge that contained cold water which was great as it was so hot. There was also lots of tea and coffee.
Clive and Allan are so knowledgeable about the area and provided us with a map of an incredible drive to Castril and the surrounding areas. They also pointed out great restaurants and bars. They even gave us tips on the type of property we were looking to buy.
The beds are so comfy and the pool is fab. This is truly a five star experience. Thank you.

Brillante!!
Si quieres desconectar y tener unos días de tranquilidad este es el mejor lugar. Una cueva muy coqueta y muy limpia. Los anfitriones Allan y Clive son maravillosos, te hacen sentir como en casa y te preparan un desayuno espectacular! Sin duda volveré a repetir!

Fantastic break at the cave of dreams
We spent New year at the cave of dreams. Clive and Allan were fantastic hosts, kind, humourus, very knowledgeable of Baza. Great places to visit, a history walk, visit to the dog sanctuary, reservoir, the beach. I would recommend everyone I know to stay at the cave of dreams. 😎xx

If Carlsberg did caves........
What more could you ask for? great location, clean room and very comfy beds.. oh the hosts are pretty cool too :-)
There is nothing the guys won't do to make your stay as pleasant as possible, they also have a wealth of knowledge of the local area, which for us, was needed.
If I could give them 10 stars I would.
I would thoroughly recommend staying here.

Fab-u-lous!!!
Visited the Cave of Dreams at the beginning of October and would have to totally agree with all the previous positive reviews - it really is an amazing, unique place. The accommodation is perfect - a lovely, big ‘cave’ room, a gorgeous shower room and a perfect sun terrace with spectacular views across the countryside. The spacious room has all the facilities that you could wish for - WiFi, tea & coffee making facilities, a fridge etc (there is a TV but you wouldn’t want to spend any time watching that when there is SO much else to see and do!). Your hosts Clive and Allan are extremely welcoming and their love of their home and adopted country is almost palpable. They will tell you all about gorgeous places to visit and recommend the best places to eat. Allan’s breakfasts are a must and will set you up for the day. If you want a taste of the ‘real’ Spain then you must pay a visit to the Cave of Dreams - you will not be disappointed!

Absolutely amazing!!!
Well worth a visit and only an hours drive from Granada and approx 2 hour drive from Almeria. This is my 3rd time staying at The Cave of dreams.The accommodation is a private, spacious room which is tastefully decorated with a lovely private shower room and toilet.Tea and coffee is provided and there is a fridge with water and milk. Outside is a wonderful little terrace looking out onto the Campo and stunning mountain views. The hosts Allan and Clive are very welcoming and so knowledgeable about the local area. Breakfast was amazing with a choice of yoghurt and fruit,cereal and toast, along with a pot of fresh coffee or tea. I just love this place and surrounding area. This is true Spain. Lovely people and scenery. Cannot wait to return. 💕🥰
